Meetings range from talks and workshops through to quiz nights and social evenings. We also arrange at least one evening out per year, visiting a gardening place of interest and one day trip. Evening Trip 2016

Worsley Hall Allotments & Raj Gate meal

On Monday 11th July, we visited Worsley Hall Allotments before having a meal at the Raj Gate, Orrell (pictured above).

The trip saw a high turnout and was thoroughly enjoyed by all! We gained valueable knowledge from the allotments, and the food could not be faulted. This year, we have also visited our own allotments, had two bowling nights & have a day trip organised in September.

If you would like to join us, contact Secretary Eileen for more information.

We have been awarded £8,000 from Wigan Council via The Deal!

We are currently awaiting lease agreement from the parish council and are also working with the local football and rugby clubs to promote the project.
